Dinner at Menz (another year down with my boo type thang)

Menz Restaurant is definitely a destination eating experience. It’s like Antique TGIF with shit all over the walls but no Jack Daniel's wing sauce.

We started with some sassy drinks, wife got a mint something and I got a fruity something, they were both delicious.

apps I got fried Jersey tomatoes with a chipotle cream sauce (amazing) and cream asparagus soup (meh) and my wife got fried mozzarella and French onion soupmain course scallops with ham and bacon (shoulder shrugger) mashed and zucchini. Wife got that fancy lemon chicken over pasta ( toooo lemony)

def have to visit this place. They do spooky dining in October!

mTn DeW Fruit Quake

Best way to describe the taste of this vile garbage is already chewed big red gum. Like someone took a bunch of sticks of big red chewing gum, chewed the taste out of it, took it out of their mouth, stuck it under a table, pulled it back out after it hardened, then re-ate it, thats honestly the flavor. 

in other words "Ewww me no like, yucky!"

So cool! k-cup advent calendar! Only someone that was psychosomatic, addict, insane wouldnt be in to this. A lot of fun

even if the coffee was garbage, it was still nice to get a different brew everyday!

New Years Meal

So lets start with dessert

instant vanilla pudding, nilla wafers, bananas, whip cream. Honestly one of the best banana puddings I've ever had. Using the banana pudding is where people make the mistake, use the vanilla and the fresh banana will give the flavor. Only real physcosomatic, addict, insane people use banana flavored pudding.

Ham:

brown sugar, ginger snaps, ginger beer, stone ground mustard. I smoked the ham plain for 2 hours

After smoked, pour on the ginger beer, rub in the mustard, pack on brown sugar and then add the crushed up ginger snaps. Throw it back on the smoker

 let it sit another 2 hours on the smoker.

Wow! it was absolutely delicious!
