Manual VertiDrain

Tried something new this year and took a 15 inch drill bit and manually vertidrained problem areas on greens that hold water. Used a generator and some busted ass drill.

in that area, we did find a lot of clay deposits. 

no mess, just lifted the board off the green and dumped away from the playing aread.

just made a grid and drilled the cross sections

During the summer, we've realized that these areas are holding more water than they usually do. I wonder if we hit drainage and corrupted the pipe. Its interesting. The real issue is these are California greens and the person who was overseeing the building of the greens with low areas didnt add enough fill to make it compliant with the rest of the green.

Hoyts Towne 14 or Franks Towne 16

My pops sent me these the other day. Quality is garbage but its the thought that counts. This place was my first job. If anyone is interested in movie theater stories or anything like that, I could post some. If you didnt know, the Franks company lied to everyone.. there were only 14 screens, thats why when Hoyts took over they changed the name to Hoyts Towne 14.

Strong Influence

My tiny daughter is truly lucky to have this woman as the one to guide her, to be her hero. Strong, smart, funny and loving. She has been such a force in the life of our daughter already. Making sure shes going to be set for life with what she needs to succeed. I thank god everyday that she is my wife, my partner my teammate. I would do anything for her and I know she would do anything for this family. Not a day goes by where she doesnt put herself first. I dont know where I would be without her. Truly amazing, truly blessed.

Schairer Abandoned Dairy Farm (NJ)

 This place is huge. I've seen this place many times driving home from work. It was a rainy day and after work I decided to walk through real quick. I didnt get a chance to really explore or enjoy my time there. I would love to go back again but as I was leaving I saw all these no trespassing signs. I thought it was just the silos and thats it but as I kept walking, it just kept going father and father back with a lot of other abandoned structures.

Like I said I would love to go back and spend some quality time there but seeing those no trespassing signs kinda puts me off to it.
