F.A.T. Trailer/AC pic

back in the day shawn and I worked the same job. We also had the same days off. When repercussion was on the Weed Tour with dead and buried, nailed right in and set ablaze we ate at this buffet in lebanon pa. One sunday a month we would drive up there or millers smorgasborg, chomp down and hang out with our friend who lived in wolmelsdorf or our other friend who lived in Harrisburg who played drums in As Tradition Ends. Shawn got a camera so we filmed the day like a bunch of old ladies. This is a trailer he made, there was another 5 minutes of Derm singing the theme from the MTV show Rich Girls but for some reason I dont have that copy.

The part of the video with shawn playing guitar and me acting retarded was when we had the first Sheer Disrespect practice. Also found this picture, made me think of how things were back then. No fake people, just real friends, no lame bullshit and good times. I asked the guy to get in the picture with us and for his wife to take the picture. This was the night "Tommynorcal" threw the head of a hammer at a homeless person and I taught eric how to play roulette. Spot out the tough asian?
never again.

"Grown up" Cartoons

I guess I would consider the simpsons a "grown up" cartoon, even though they go more for the family style comedy feel. One show I used to watch was Duckman
I think duckman defines a "grown up" cartoon. Sick story plots, and yuck filled dialog... but I enjoyed it. I bought the entire series on DVD off dvddonkey.com for 129.99. It was copied shows off tv then burned to a dvdr. Even though sometimes you'll get some commercials, and talk overs on the end credits, I didnt mind. I didnt even mind it taking 3 months to get here untill about 2 months later they FINALY released season 1 and 2 on DVD. I was kinda angry, but not to heated.. untill 2 mins ago when I checked the price again on dvddonkey.com. They lowered the price to 9.99... damn royally screwed. The show still rules, just wish I didnt waste tons of dinaro on dvdrs

Sibylle Baier

Honestly this album rules. Its dark folk music, if thats even possible. Its depressing, haunting and I really enjoy it. Everyone I know will hate it. The story behind the recording and release of the album is pretty righteous:

In a particularly dark and moody period of her young life, Claudine, a friend of Sibylle's, dragged her out from under the bed and took her on a road trip to Strasbourg, ending up across the Alps in Genoa.

Upon the return from this trip Sibylle felt her spirits renewed and she set out to write the song "Remember the Day", grateful for being alive. It was the first song she ever wrote. Her music is simply amazing in its intimacy and closeness. Recorded in the late 70's in her home on a reel to reel recording device, the songs on "Colour Green" are intimate portraits of life's sad and fragile beauty. It is a gem of an album that will blow your mind. Sibylle is a star who chose to shine for her friends and family instead of the whole world.

Some thirty years later her son Robby compiled a CD from these recordings to give to family members as presents. He also gave a copy to Dinosaur Jr's J Mascis, who in turn passed it along to the Orange Twin label. Orange Twin released the album in February 2006. She is expected to release a second studio album.

Little Medusas

I am a sucker for catchy lookout records style punk music. This band has a Lookout alumni in it, the singer from the Groovie Ghoulies. I was never into them, but still they were on lookout. Whatever they're catchy.

Bong youth

I wish I was joining this hoodratz but sorry to say Im not. I mean with a full length cd called "Sneeke Muthafukaz" it has to be boss. I was asked to join hoodratz... the offer was

help write for the new CD
play shows when I can on second guitar

I love that. Its pretty gnarly if I wont be able to play a show, they can still play and there wont be any hard feelings. They're all gnar dudes, and I cant wait to start working with them and playing some hot wet slimy grime shows.

Utz Mansion

loco. Who would have thought that chips featured in the Blair Witch Project could build a mansion like this.
